Rainbow Path Home
— Star was collecting smooth stones for a garden wall when she wandered into a thick, foggy part of the forest. The trees looked unfamiliar. Very unfamiliar. —
This doesn't look right. [PAUSE] Where did the meadow go?
— Star tried walking forward, but every direction looked the same. Green trees. Gray fog. More green trees. —
I'm definitely lost. But I won't panic. I have my hard hat and my brain, and that's what matters.
— Star sat on a log and opened her backpack. Inside were scraps of colorful fabric from her last building project. Red felt. [SHORT-PAUSE] Orange ribbon. [SHORT-PAUSE] Yellow string. —
I can make a rainbow path! Just like the one on my socks!
— Star tied the fabric scraps to low branches as she walked carefully through the forest. Red felt on the oak tree. [SHORT-PAUSE] Orange ribbon on the birch. [SHORT-PAUSE] Yellow string on the maple. Each color marked her way. —
If I keep following my rainbow, I'll find home.
— Step by step, with her rainbow trail glowing behind her, Star emerged from the fog. There was the meadow. There was the bridge she'd been building. —
Star! You came back!
And I brought something new. A rainbow trail through the forest. Now we can explore together without getting scared.
— Star learned that even when you're lost, your creativity and kindness can light the way home. —
