Just Right Jazz
Deep in the green wood She stood where she should She found a small door And wanted some more She entered the hall She felt very small But curiosity led her inside With nowhere to hide
What do I see? Looking at me A house of gold light A beautiful sight I’ll take a quick look Like a page in a book I’ll step on the floor And open one more
The story is old The soup is not cold The cushion is light It’s feeling just right We’re swinging today In a grizzly way
Shoo-be-doo-bee-wop Never gonna stop Jazzing for the three Come and play with me Finger pop, don't stop Rising to the top Singing with the bears Forget all your cares
Tip-toe, don't be slow Watch the garden grow
The big bowl was hot She liked it a lot The small bowl was sweet A perfect little treat She ate every bite With all of her might Then she looked for a place to sit And rest for a bit
She broke the chair Sitting right there It fell to the floor She couldn't sit more She went to the stairs To find the three bears But no one was home In the forest dome
The first bed was hard Like stones in the yard The next was too deep She couldn't find sleep The last was so nice Like cold lemon ice She closed both her eyes Under velvet blue skies She dreamt of a song That lasted so long
The bears came home Under the pine dome
