Teddy Hides By The Big Tree

Teddy loves the school garden. His fluffy golden-brown fur feels warm in the sun. He remembers exploring these bushes with his little girl. But today is Sports Day. It is too loud! Teddy feels very scared. He runs away fast on his short, sturdy legs. Teddy peeks around the trunk as all his friends line up for the start of the race. Teacher Owl hoots, "Ready, set, flap!" The loud whistle blows. Teddy covers his fuzzy ears and squeezes his black button eyes tightly shut.
