The Lonely Corner

Glip trotted through the meadow fair, their rainbow scales shimmering in the sunshine. Colorful tents and happy animals filled the fairgrounds! Glip's craft apron pockets jingled with supplies.

Then Glip saw something sad. Little Moss the hedgehog sat alone under a tree. Other animals played games together, laughing and running. But nobody asked Moss to play.

Glip walked over. "Hello, Moss!"

Moss looked down at his tiny paws. "They don't want me," he whispered very quietly.

Glip's warm brown eyes grew sad too. Moss had a little bag of pretty stones and leaves he'd collected. Beautiful treasures! But Moss just sat there, all alone.
