Samy Finds A Shiny Falling Star

Samy stood by her cozy cottage window. Her large brown eyes looked up at the dark sky. She touched her silver locket. Her mama always said small people can do big things. Whoosh! A bright, shiny star zoomed through the sky. It fell down, down, down. Plop! It landed far away in the tall green jungle grass. The sky went dark. The jungle looked big and scary. Samy grabbed her woven satchel. She pulled her lavender shawl tight. The shiny star needed her help!
