Derek is endlessly enthusiastic and always eager to lend a paw. He's incredibly optimistic, seeing the best in every situation and every person (or animal). Sometimes, his eagerness leads to minor mishaps, but he always learns from his mistakes with a cheerful attitude. He is also very loyal and takes his responsibilities very seriously, sometimes a little too seriously for his own good.

The Backstory
Derek was found as a very young bunny near the school's playground. The school's caretaker took him in and cared for him. As Derek grew, he loved watching the children play and learn, sparking a desire to help in any way he could. He spent hours in the school's workshop, tinkering with discarded materials, eventually creating his signature rocket boots with the help of some older students. He's been an unofficial school assistant ever since.
